A request is one call
One HTTP call to a /v1/ endpoint counts as one request, whether it matches an address or not. Autocomplete keystrokes each count, so debounce the field if you are close to a quota.
Counting happens server side
Usage is recorded against your account and key when the request is served. The dashboard reports what the backend recorded, so the numbers you see are the numbers you are billed on.
Payments will run through Stripe
When Standard opens, card details will go to Stripe Checkout and never touch our servers. There is no checkout while the plan is marked coming soon.
Questions people actually ask.
What happens when I hit my monthly quota?
Requests beyond the free quota are rejected with a clear error rather than silently billed. Standard is not available for upgrade yet.
Can I use this for postal deliverability?
No. A match confirms the address exists in G-NAF. It is not an AMAS-certified postal validation and does not assert that mail will be delivered there.
Do you store the addresses I send?
Request logs record the endpoint, status, latency, key and timestamp. Retention of query content is limited and described on the privacy page.
Is there an annual plan or a volume tier?
Not yet. Standard itself is still coming soon, and its final price and quota will be published before checkout opens.
